The mapping of real life elements into game elements in order to make them natural is the transfer of function or meaning (rather than emotion, which was my topic on the post).
Transferability is a great tool to create impact and imprint something unto something else. Take something that has already caused impact, create some kind of connections with the thing you want to cause impact with, and chances are that you'll end up having something that causes impact. This is my first attempt to start talking about the topic.
